I had extremely high hopes for Brock Lesnar in Mixed Martial Arts. His striking to me seems like it would be clumbsy versus a Tank Abbott. He is unbelievably strong and agile which will vault him above about 85% of the heavyweights in the world already. But if dude could strike? Or be able to submit people...Fedor who?
Nothing to say about Wrestlemania or the UCLA game?
I thought Wrestlemania was a great show. Cena-Michaels was a 4 star+ main event, though I wish Cena hadn't won by tapout again. Batista-Taker was shockingly good, especially the last few minutes. Money in the Bank was predictably excellent, and the right guy won it. The rest of the matches were solid too, with Khali-Kane and the women's match the only blemishes on the card.
I didn't get a chance to catch WrestleMania. I had other plans for the evening, and I'll just get it on DVD shortly anyway. So I can't really comment. Glad you enjoyed it. Sounds like most people did.
UCLA-Florida was discouraging. Things will be different next year with Kevin Love coming in.
OJ Mayo is going to SC, Nick Young HAS to stay and they got that other shooter. Afflalo was UCLA's ticket. He has no reason to stay. Plus I think Oden might come back.
Conley won't make an NBA roster off this season and I don't think he'd hang his boy out to dry. Oden could stand to eat free meals and work a bit more on his conditioning for another season. The NBA's not goin' anywhere.
OJ Mayo make USC worse? I won't even touch the bitter anti-USC stuff.
For shits and giggles, when was the last time the #1 prospect in the country went somewhere and made that team worse?
Dajuan Wagner comes to mind, but their teams were still solid and had Amare gone to school like he was suppose to maybe he doesn't need microfracture surgery his 3rd year in the league.
USC did quite well for themselves this season playing team oriented basketball and tough defense. Throw a volatile me-first point guard into the mix and you risk completely disrupting the chemistry they established. The OJ Mayo mold of player has produced one mediocre team after another. Look at Stephon Marbury's career.
The USC guys will defer to OJ because they have seen that what they have is not enough. They need a go-to guy because Nick Young is not it. He needs a running mate just like Stephon Marbury always has.
I think it's unfair to put the "me first" label on a kid coming out of high school. I can see why most sports reporters won't even touch high school because it does corrupt the kids. OJ Mayo is amazing, and will only improve USC's basketball program. He will put them in more tv games and give everybody a reason to play better and work harder.

We go over our Wrestlemania predictions!

OJ Mayo will make USC worse, not better. And they'll probably be losing players to boot.
I don't expect Oden to stay either.

Why exactly would I be bitter towards USC?

Do you not go to UCLA?
