UCLA in Sweet Sixteen

That game against Alabama was probably closer than it should have been. The offense looked really bad, as they basically just passed it around the perimeter. Hopefully that won't be a harbinger of things to come. Of course, if they did a better job shooting free throws it probably would have been a moot point anyway.

Good question. I heard talk on local TV here that they would put Arron Afflalo on him. Afflalo's smaller than Morrison, but he's one of the best defensive players in the Pac 10. The more natural matchup size-wise would be Mbah a Moute, and he's another hustle player. UCLA finds ways to put pressure on people and get double teams without leaving open men, so I would think Morrison will get double treatment a lot of the game. I don't want to curse this, but on paper I think this is a really good matchup for the Bruins. They play tough defense and will be able to frustrate Gonzaga, and Gonzaga is going to have trouble doing the same thing on the other hand. If the UCLA offense gets going, they could win this one handily. But I guess we will see.
